The receptionist was extremely rude. Dr. Keeler, nurse Tiffany, and the phlebotomist were amazing. Upon walking in for my appointment she told me I owe $630 or I won’t be seen. I’m in a payment plan with my doctor so I told her I’Show mored be right back from calling to see if my doctor still wants me to be seen by high risk because I was going to be released. I came back in 10 minutes and she told me I’ve now missed my appointment. I understand policies but her delivery was disrespectful and I left the office in a panic attack. My first son almost died and you don’t know patient’s stories. The office manager came out to my car and told me I’d be seen if I paid half ($315) so I paid but on my way out they tried to tell me I owed $35 more and if I don’t pay they’ll just tack it on to the other half in 14 days. My original appointment was at 8am and I left there at 12 noon. I will not be back to that location. I suggest training your staff on cultural competency and that your tone is everything when talking to people.
I was referred to Dr. Adashek by my cousin that had triplets. Due to the timing of my first trimester ultrasound, I was assigned to Dr. Keeler. At first I was disappointed because I’ve heard such great things about Dr. Adashek. HoShow morewever, I met Dr. Keeler yesterday and he was everything you’d hope for when navigating these scary waters. His calm, laid back approach made me feel at ease and instantly knew he was a perfect fit for what I need after recurrent miscarriage. He took his time, answered all of our questions. He even went through my lab work from my reproductive endocrinologist and saw that we didn’t have to do any bloodwork while I was there. This experience has been a breath of fresh air and I’m excited (instead of terrified) to continue this journey that’s left me so broken in the past. The office staff was also friendly, prompt and lighthearted. The ultrasound technician was very kind, accommodating and took her time showing us this little miracle in my belly. Thank you all for your professionalism and running a great practice. Looking forward to my future appointments.
Sean Keeler, MD, FACOG, provides his expertise in perinatal medicine to women living in and around Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada, at Desert Perinatal Associates. Dr. Keeler is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. After graduating, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy and awarded a full scholarship through the Federal Health Professions Scholarship Program to attend CCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia. After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Keeler completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
During his academic years, he received numerous teaching awards, including the Pennsylvania State University Hershey Medical Center Award for Humanism and Excellence in Teaching. Following his fellowship training, Dr. Keeler served four years active duty as a Lieutenant Commander at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth as the Division Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. After his activity duty was complete, Dr. Keeler was awarded the prestigious Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for distinguishing himself with meritorious service to our country.
Dr. Keeler has a strong interest in clinical research in preterm labor and cervical insufficiency. He has authored seventeen original manuscripts and two book chapters on the topic. He serves the community by supporting the March of Dimes and the Promise Walk for Preeclampsia. He was elected to the Board of Directors of the Unforgettables Foundation of Southern Nevada.
He’s married and has extra compassion for his patients, as two of his three daughters were born of high-risk pregnancies. He enjoys golfing, exercising, and enjoying good meals with his friends.

We had a great experience at Desert Perinatal with Dr Keeler! We went in for a level 2 ultrasound, and they were very thorough with their scan, asking questions, and verifying information. I filled out the forms ahead of time and was brought back right on time. They couldn’t measure our baby’s face the first time, so Dr Keeler was able to do a quick scan and got the perfect profile and frontal photo. It was great experience, and we will be returning for another routine scan again.
My sister referred me to Desert Perinatal. The both of us have had multiple pleasant experiences with Dr. Keeler. I also recommend him.

Great ultrasound tech ladies super sweet!! Dr. Keeler is also a great doctor with a lot of knowledge, very informative. I felt very relaxed with him. I would recommend this facility.

I love the facility they run, just wish some of the nurses were as patient and not rushing to get you out the office like other. My first appointment was amazing the nurse took her time doing the ultrasound and explaining all of the process to us. Even answered some of the questions we had to the best of her knowledge. This last appointment felt more rush pictures weren’t as clear and just felt like she was tying to get us in and out not to much conversation. So definitely wouldn’t recommend that nurse to anyone, but overall love the place everyone is extremely friendly.

I am a high risk pregnancy patient and when meeting Dr. Keeler and his staff I walked out of the center super calm and happy with how it all went. Dr. Keeler gave me this feeling of confidence and security towards my situation and felt I am in good hands, so I would definitely recommend going there!
