My name is Sharon Scarboro, and I am currently a Dual Master’s student in social work and public health at Temple University. I am completing my social work internship at One Alkaline Life. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Christian counseling in 2020 with distinction and have completed an internship in a residential women’s substance-use and alcohol recovery program, gaining experience in supporting clients through their treatment and managing administrative tasks. I am passionate about advocating for individuals and families within diverse populations, connecting them with resources to enhance their overall well-being. I focus on addressing mental health issues, eating disorders, and trauma. Additionally, I prioritize cross-sector collaboration, equitable treatment, access to care, and integrated behavioral health. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going for walks, and traveling to new places.
