I have suffered from excruciating migraines for over 25 years and have seen several different Neurologists over the years without any of them being able to help me combat my migraines by finding a medication that works or come up Show morewith a treatment plan. That was until I was referred to Dr. Wade Steeves by another neurologist that was not a headache specialist. Dr. Steeves is top notch!! His staff members are always very friendly and helpful. Dr. Steeves is one of the kindest and caring, down to earth guys and the BEST and MOST knowledgeable headache specialist ever! My first appointment with him, he told me if I would trust him and give him some time with a little trial and error he had confidence that he could not only lessen the pain of my migraines but also the amount of migraines I have! He is true to his word! I went from having eye pain everyday and some degree of headache/migraine/trimeginal nerve pain 20+ days a month to now maybe 2-3 days a month! He is my hero! If you suffer from migraines give his is office a call… you will not be disappointed!
It’s a pleasure to work with Dr. Steeves. He gave me three packages of Ajovi for free because my insurance was a pain. Today he explained why I should try Botox again ( I had it with previous provider and it didn’t help). Plus whiShow morele we are waiting for my insurance to approve it he gave me nerve blocks for free. Today I was on my 10th day of Migraine, so you can imagine how grateful I feel about Dr Steeves team! I understand that it’s a very complex problem but I appreciate his kindness. Wade Steeves, MD, is a general neurologist at Valley Neurology PLLC in Spokane Valley, Washington. Known as the Headache Guy, Dr. Steeves treats headaches and facial pain full-time.
After completing his neurology residency at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia, Dr. Steeves relocated to the Spokane Valley area to work at MultiCare Rockwood Clinic.
After four years of providing general neurology care, Dr. Steeves narrowed his scope of practice, focusing exclusively on headache and facial pain management. In 2019, he transitioned to private practice, opening Valley Neurology PLLC.
Dr. Steeves is currently the only neurologist in the region who focuses solely on headache management, providing headache relief to those living in and around Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.
Though much of his care involves managing migraines, Dr. Steeves treats all headache types and facial pain. If a patient has any pain or unusual sensation above the neck, Dr. Steeves can treat it. To this end, Dr. Steeves is proactive in keeping up with the latest advances in headache management and migraine care and has access to cutting-edge data.
Since 2018, no less than six new prevention therapies and four new acute medications have been made available for migraine sufferers. These newer treatments tend to have higher efficacy and fewer side effects than older treatments. He finds it very rewarding to see lives improved with these latest remedies.
When not at the office, Dr. Steeves enjoys spending time with his family, biking, skiing, woodworking, reading, and traveling.

Dr. Steeves is the best. He definitely cares about his patients. He takes as much time as needed to make sure he finds the best treatment to help you feel better.
