After completing his neurology residency at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia, Dr. Steeves relocated to the Spokane Valley area to work at MultiCare Rockwood Clinic.

Since 2018, no less than six new prevention therapies and four new acute medications have been made available for migraine sufferers. These newer treatments tend to have higher efficacy and fewer side effects than older treatments. He finds it very rewarding to see lives improved with these latest remedies.

In 2011, Dr. Demattos made the decision to relocate to Lewiston, Idaho, where she established herself in private practice at Clearwater Neurosciences. She transitioned to Valley Neurology in the Spokane area at the end of 2023. Here, she continues to provide comprehensive care to individuals with a wide range of neurological conditions, including but not limited to headaches, traumatic brain injury, stroke, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, and dementia.
