About Mr. Stan Bumgarner, MDiv, LADC II

Stan Bumgarner is a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor II with a Masters in Divinity from Vanderbilt University, graduating in 2005.

After completing his degree, he began working as a drug and alcohol counselor in various treatment centers across middle Tennessee. In 2012, he joined Cumberland Heights Treatment Center in Nashville, Tennessee, where he worked as a Drug and Alcohol counselor and Spiritual Director until his retirement in 2022. Stan now owns and operates the Cedar House Retreat Center in Tracy City, TN, in addition to working part-time in private practice and with Hickory Health and Wellness. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their three dogs. With years of experience and a passion for helping others, Stan is dedicated to supporting individuals on their path towards recovery and wellness.
