About Dr. Steven Bircher, DC

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for allowing me to care for you and your family for the last 40 years. I truly hope that you have had, and continue to have, the best quality care from us here at Optima Health and Medical.

After being in practice for the better half of my life, I am slowing down a little bit and focusing on more neurological, intestinal/digestive, and anti-aging issues over classic structural issues, due to a family history of ALS (my dad died from ALS at 47yrs old, my brother died from ALS at 57yrs old and my younger brother was diagnosed with dementia two years ago and now has ALS). I am certified by the Institute of Functional Medicine in Advanced Clinical Training to Reverse Cognitive Decline. This training was taught by Dr. Dale Bredensen, M.D, who wrote the book “The End of Alzheimer’s, “which I recommend reading.

I want you to feel confident and comfortable seeing the other practitioners here at Optima Health and Medical. I have mentored, trained with each of them, and consult with all of them regularly. Essentially, we are a team here at Optima and want to provide you with top notch care.
