Dr. Kaamilah Barnett is an Atlanta native. After completing her undergraduate studies in Kentucky, she earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She subsequently returned to Atlanta and completed her residency at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Barnett is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is particularly interested in breastfeeding and adolescent medicine. She believes in building strong relationships with families and providing comprehensive care tailored to each child's unique needs.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys volunteering in her community, dancing, and hiking with her family and dog, Ori. Dr. Barnett welcomes any family seeking high-quality, compassionate pediatric care to Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics.

We absolute LOVE Dr. Edwards, she always takes her time with us to make sure we are comfortable and that all of our questions are answered. Our girls are always excited to see the Doctors at O4W and our family could not be happier with the care we receive.

Excellent experience with Dr. Burnett love this place been going here with my kids for 20 yrs and counting never had any issues or difficulties staff always have been there for years although some has gone but still that says a lot about the doctors too. They are good people but I’ll miss Dr hammad. Dr. Platner ur the last old school left.. Great place

I LOVEEEE HER! She’s always so informative, And kind, So gentle with the kids, and always have a very positive energy! Compassionate and always get us in and out….! The entire doctor’s office is the bomb…! I moved 1hr-45 mins away and will continue to make the trips because of the professional service they provide . Thank God for them…!
