A little about me: I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I meet people where they are and utilize a holistic approach using nutraceuticals and prescription medications to treat psychiatric disorders. Dr. Elizabeth Ndika (DNP) is a board certified Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner as well as certified a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Elizabeth practices at Caring Hands Medical Clinic where she utilizes her past acute care experience as a hospitalist and as a sole provider from other inpatient /outpatients’ settings to care for her patients. She has the ability to easily differentiate between mental illness and medical condition. At Caring Hands Medical clinic, Dr. Ndika integrates her community health assessment skills in addition to a holistic approach to manage her clients.
Josyane Kengni, CRNP, PMH is a board-certified nurse practitioner in Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. She has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in nursing with years of nursing experience in a variety of settings. Josyane is licensed to provide psychotherapy and psychopharmacology in Maryland and West Virginia. She is experienced in working with children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population to diagnose and treat mental health problems. She works with patients dealing with depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, PTSD, schizophrenia, and many others.
Josyane draws on her experience as a medical nurse to rule out any possible medical conditions that could be affecting a patient’s mental health before treating a psychiatric condition.
