Julie Bergman, PMHNP, is a highly qualified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of professional experience. As the founder and owner of Grace Mental Health Resources, INC, in Folsom, California, Julie's primary goal is to help her patients reach their full potential physically, mentally, and emotionally to create the lives they have always wanted. Julie started her medical career serving in the U.S. Army. After graduating from Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) in Parkland, Washington, with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2001, she returned to school for her Master of Science in nursing administration. Julie graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2009 with her nursing administration degree. Later, she earned her adult nurse practitioner degree from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Beverly Chang completed her Bachelor of Science degree at UC Berkeley where she volunteered at “The Over 60 Health Center.” During medical school at UC Irvine, she founded the Geriatrics Interest Group.
Dr. Chang completed her General Psychiatry residency at UCSF Fresno. She was selected chief resident during her fourth year of residency and was also named a Geriatric Mental Health Foundation Scholar by the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry. After residency, she went on to pursue advanced training at UC San Diego where she completed a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry.
She has extensive experience at inpatient, outpatient, nursing home and tele-health settings. Dr. Chang has co-authored literature on geriatrics education, palliative care and contributed to the latest edition of the Geriatric Psychiatry Self Assessment Program. She maintains her relationship with UCSF Fresno Memory and Alzheimer Center as a volunteer faculty member.

I am trained in Osteopathic medicine and have a holistic and integrative approach to psychiatry practice. I believe in treating the whole person, not just their symptoms. I offer both short-term and long-term psychotherapy in addition to psychopharmacology management. My goal is to help my patients achieve their best mental health by considering all aspects of their well-being, including their physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
