Greathope Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services are open Monday through Friday 9 am - 4:30 pm and Saturdays 9 am - 1 pm. Located in a quiet, private office setting with handicap accessible parking, Dr. Asikaiwe’s patients’ comfort and privacy are the highest priority.

Cecilia Chanda, DNP, PMHNP, is a dedicated and board-certified nurse practitioner at Greathope Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services in Garland, Texas. A natural-born leader, Cecilia motivates healthcare teams to provide patients with outstanding care.

She gained experience as a PMHNP at SPC Senior PsychCare (SPC Health) in Houston, Texas, and Greathope Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services.
She’s held numerous contracts, including an enterprise staffing contract with Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, Texas, and a travel nurse contract at Texas Health Presbyterian Plano Emergency Room (Presby Plano Emergency Room) in Plano.
In addition to being a Registered Nurse Licensed in Texas, Cecilia holds numerous certifications, including ENPC Certificate, ACLS Certificate, CPR, BLS Certificate, IV Certified, and NIHSS Certificate.
She is particularly interested in ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Personality Disorders, Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), medication management, and addictions management.
