Dr. Agarwal received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Tribhuvan University, the pioneer institute in Kathmandu, Nepal. Dr. Agarwal completed her psychiatric residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, and then received a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship from Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York. She has been serving as a Child & Adolescent psychiatrist in the inpatient and outpatient setting and an Assistant Professor at Missouri University in Columbia, MO.

She brings more than 17 years of diverse nursing experience to the team and has been practicing as a PMHNP since 2021. Her approach to mental health care is rooted in empathy, clinical expertise, and a commitment to supporting each patient’s unique journey toward healing and wellness.
Her academic background reflects a strong foundation in both science and public health. Sandy earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, in May 2006.
