Treatment with me is based on a collaborative effort between me and my patients. I begin each relationship with a comprehensive two hour psychiatric evaluation, that includes a full medical history as well. I also focus on the importance of nutrition and healthy eating during that evaluation. At the end of the consultation, there is open discussion about treatment options. If a patient has an existing therapist, a release form is signed so there can be ongoing confidential communication between providers.
