Darya Pokoevaya is a certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She provides psychotherapy and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of mental health conditions. She has a special affinity for working with clients who suffer from anxiety and trauma-related conditions. She is fully trained in EMDR, IFS Level 1, and have training in AEDP and ISTDP, which are evidence based therapies for attachment trauma. Darya completed an adult psychoanalytic psychotherapy fellowship at Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis (MIP) and BPSI. Jeffrey Lucero, PMHNP is the owner of Thoughtful Psychiatry. Since becoming a Psychiatry Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2014 he has completed 7 years of advanced post-graduate training. This includes the VA Nurse Practioner Residency (2014-2015), Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis Post Graduate Fellowship (2015-2016), Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute Advanced Training Program (2017-Present), Massachusetts Institute of Psychoanalysis Child fellowship (2019-2020), Psychodynamic Couple and Family Institute of New England Fellowship (2020-2021). Jeffrey also has extensive training in the following psychotherapies: Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT), Transference Focused Psychotherapy (TFP), and Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP).
