He graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2002. Dr. Weaver completed Residency in 2005 and his Fellowship in 2008 at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Bashar Bargoty is a Pulmonologist in Knoxville, TN and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center and Parkwest Medical Center. He has several medical research publications and had received the American Thoracic Society Abstract Scholarship Award at The American Thoracic Society International Conference, 2014.
Dr. Bargoty enjoys teaching medical students and serves as an adjunct faculty member at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. Outside of his busy practice, Dr. Bargoty likes to enjoy outdoor activities around Knoxville and the Smokey Mountains with his wife and two children. He is fluent in English, Arabic and knows basic Hebrew.

Dr. Salter specializes in diagnosing and treating cross-system illnesses that may affect multiple organ systems. As a respiratory specialist, Dr. Salter may diagnose and treat pulmonary disorders such as asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, lung disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema and bronchitis, among a host of others. He is certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease.

Dr. Alsharif completed both Residency and Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, Tennessee. He received his board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2012, Pulmonary Medicine in 2014, Critical Care Medicine in 2015, and Sleep Medicine in 2016. Dr. Zulma Swank is a Pulmonologist in Knoxville, TN and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center and Parkwest Medical Center. Dr. Swank received her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Virginia and then completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, followed by her Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University. She began working with StatCare in 2022.

Danielle Mote, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at StatCare, providing high-quality pulmonology to adults living in and around Knoxville, Oak Ridge, and Athens, Tennessee.
Danielle began her professional education at Tennessee Wesleyan College in Knoxville, earning her Bachelor of Science in nursing. She excelled in the program and served as chapter president of the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA).
After graduation, Danielle enrolled at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. She earned her Master of Science in nursing and received special training as a family nurse practitioner.
Danielle became a registered nurse in 2007. In the more than 15 years since, she’s served at various medical facilities in emergency and critical care departments.
Danielle is certified in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS). She loves getting to know her patients and has the training and expertise to serve those experiencing acute or chronic illness.
When she isn’t developing treatment plans, Danielle enjoys participating in continuing education. She’s always cultivating and honing new skills.

Dr. Morrison completed Internal Medicine Residency at Mercy Hospital with the University of Pittsburgh, PA and his Fellowship in 2009 at the University of Vermont, Burlington, VT. He has a special interest in advanced pulmonary diagnostics utilizing bronchoscopic computer navigation and endobronchial ultrasound techniques for diagnosing lung lesions. In addition to advanced diagnostics, he has an additional special interest in advanced interventional pulmonary including airway stenting, tumor debulking, bronchial thermoplastic, pleural diagnostics and interventions. He received his board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2006, Pulmonary Disease in 2008 and Critical Care Medicine in 2009 and remains board certified in both fields. Megan earned two undergraduate degrees –– a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond.
A few years later, she decided to pursue a graduate degree and returned to Southeastern Louisiana University, obtaining her Master of Science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner.
Megan has certifications in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS). She’s also a proud member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Dr. Kamran Boka has been with StatCare practicing pulmonary and critical care medicine since 2019. He completed his medical training in Detroit, Michigan, including an internship and residency in internal medicine at St. John Hospital & Medical Center, now Ascension, and his pulmonary critical care medicine fellowship from Henry Ford Health System. Dr. Boka previously practiced pulmonary and critical care medicine at a large academic university center, where his responsibilities included attending to critically ill patients in various subspecialty ICUs, maintaining his pulmonary clinic, and educating medical residents, pulmonary and critical care fellows, and medical students.
His special interests include bedside critical care medicine, point-of-care ultrasound, community medical education, and electronic-ICU.
Dr. Boka's approach to patients has been and continues to be compassionate bedside care; he performs this thorough in-depth empathic discussions with patients and their families. By conducting multidisciplinary rounding styles, he engages families, nurses, and critical care support teams on his rounds. Since practicing in academics, he continues to be a passionate educator who believes in a dedicated effort of further educating junior physicians and advanced practice practitioners on how to listen to patients, their needs, and desires, and that technology should only be used to augment and supplement the human touch.
He has consulted, led, and directed efforts on how to use social media in medicine and the education and practice of bedside critical care ultrasound (POCUS) at different programs. Among earning excellence in teaching awards, Dr. Boka has been nominated Physician of the Year and has won the honor of Top Doctors. He has held the national section editorial board position of Social Media Co-Editor for CHEST and its CHEST journal. He is a member of CHEST (American College of Chest Physicians) and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.

He completed his Critical Care Fellowship at the St. Elizabeth's Medical Center affiliated with Boston University, and his Pulmonary Medicine Fellowship at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Maroun is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American Thoracic Society, and the American College of CHEST Physicians. He is fluent in English and Arabic, and he enjoys skiing, running, and swimming.
