Dr. Antonino Cammarata is a board-certified general surgeon that has over 19 years of experience specializing in a laparo-endoscopic and robotic surgery. He served in the US Army Reserves as a weapons sergeant in Special Forces. Dr. Cammarata earned his Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University (Go Sun Devils!). After graduation, he stayed local and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University. After graduating, Dr. Cammarata moved to New Jersey where he completed his internship and surgical residency training, including a year as Chief Surgical Resident at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. While in New Jersey he met his wife who is an Emergency Medicine Physician. Dr. Modasi is a highly trained minimally invasive and robotic surgeon with subspecialty expertise in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. He has been published and cited in numerous journals internationally and has given talks to surgeons from across the world.
During his training Dr. Modasi won several awards for his technical abilities in laparoscopy and was ranked amongst the highest trainees across the country academically.
