Lisa Mascall, DACM, L.Ac, is a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist and is NCCAOM board-certified. As the Clinical Director of Hackensack Family Acupuncture & Wellness, Lisa is dedicated to helping women throughout Hackensack, New Jersey, take control of their health and happiness using natural medicine.
Lisa’s experience is extensive. She received her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. As an acupuncturist, she has undergone advanced clinical studies in Japan in the field of Pediatrics. She has also done advanced training at NYU Lutheran Hospital’s Labor & Delivery Department, leading to her current specialty in fertility and women’s health. Lisa has also completed advanced training in herbal medicine, which is a big part of her work at Hackensack Family Acupuncture & Wellness.
Prior to returning to school to learn Chinese Medicine, Lisa was a physical therapist for more than 10 years. This makes her uniquely poised to treat acute and chronic pain with an approach that weaves together the best of Eastern and Western medicines.
Passionate about supporting women during all stages of their lives, Lisa has experience enhancing fertility, promoting healthy menstrual cycles, and helping women through the transitions of menopause and beyond. She looks forward to supporting you on your health journey.
