Brian Lee is a board-licensed acupuncturist with a doctorate degree in Korean medicine. With more than a decade of professional experience, Dr. Lee currently serves patients at Cornerstone Acupuncture Institute in Fullerton and Irvine, California.
After graduating from ASU with the highest honors, Dr. Lee pursued both his doctorate and master’s degree in Acupuncture and Korean medicine. Since completing his studies, Dr. Lee has received extensive integrative spine care and pain management fellowship and residency training in Korea. He has also studied and trained at prestigious universities including Kyung Hee University International Studies of Oriental Medicine and Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine in Seoul, Korea.
Dr. Lee served as the CEO and medical director of Jaseng Center for Alternative Medicine in Irvine, California, for eight years before earning the title of Dean of Clinical Education at Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Los Angeles. During his tenure, Dr. Lee oversaw the pain management program at The Wellness Center at the Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, and at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)-affiliated Venice Family Clinic in Santa Monica, California.
Passionate about continuing education, Dr. Lee has taught master-level students and was an adjunct professor at South Baylo University in Anaheim, California, before serving as a preceptorship supervisor for the externship program at the Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, California. He also held privileges as a specialist at the Olympia Medical Center and Caduceus Medical Group in the past.
Dr. Lee consistently delivers compassionate care to patients from all backgrounds. He provides acupuncture treatment to PGA/LPGA players around the world, and he continues to further his pain management education whenever possible. Outside of the office, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and playing sports, especially golf.
Ryoko Takayama, L.Ac., is a California-licensed and a board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist specializing in the treatment of women’s health, prenatal care, allergies, autoimmune diseases, and eating disorders. Ryoko expertly leads the knowledgeable team at Family Wellness Acupuncture Inc. and compassionately serves all patients throughout Orange County with offices located in Irvine and Newport Beach, California.
Ryoko obtained her undergraduate degree in acupuncture and moxibustion from the Meiji University of Integrative Medicine located in Kyoto, Japan. Continuing her education, Ryoko earned her Master of Oriental Medicine degree in 2005 from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College at Berkeley located in Berkeley, California.
Ryoko founded Family Wellness Acupuncture Inc. in 2008. L.Ac.
