Gene Kim, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist at COR Healthcare Medical Associates in Los Angeles. Dr. Kim earned his medical degree at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, before moving to California to complete an internal medicine residency at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center. Eric Castleman, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist and internist at COR Healthcare Medical Associates in Los Angeles. Dr. Castleman earned his medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City before moving to California for his medical training. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center and a cardiology fellowship from UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, California.
Dr. Castleman has many interests outside of work. He loves spending time with his wife, who is a nurse, and their four children. He loves gardening, traveling, and tinkering in the garage repairing things.
Parham Parto, MD, MPH, FACC, is an interventional cardiologist at Parto Heart & Vascular in Los Angeles and Newport Beach, California, providing care for patients throughout Southern California. Dr. Parto is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine.
A Southern California native, Dr. Parto grew up in Irvine, attending the University of California, Irvine for his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences with a minor in educational studies. He then completed his Master of Public Health in health administration at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California.
After earning his Doctor of Medicine at St. George’s University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada, West Indies, Dr. Parto completed his internal medicine internship and residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, rising to the top of his class and serving as chief resident.
Dr. Parto did his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana, training with the top experts in the field.
He pursued further specialized training in interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular intervention at VCU School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia.
Currently, Dr. Parto is the Chief of Cardiology at St. Vincent Medical Center and the Director of Vascular Diseases at California Hospital Medical Center, both in Los Angeles. He has treated a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, won awards, and produced a number of publications.
Dr. Parto is a well-recognized, highly skilled physician who’s committed to the health and recovery of his patients and well-liked for his compassionate bedside manner.
Dr. Shaun Daneshrad, MD, FACC, is a leading internist and cardiologist in the Greater Los Angeles area, providing adults in and around Beverly Hills, CA, with skilled and compassionate care in all areas of internal medicine. He maintains professional relationships with several area hospitals including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Olympia Medical Center, and has served as the clinical chief of cardiology at both Brotman Medical Center and Olympia Medical Center. He has been an active member of Cedars-Sinai's Performance Improvement Committee too.
