Ali Hendi, MD, is a widely recognized skin cancer specialist who has been caring for patients in the Washington, DC area for over a decade. A double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Hendi opened a state-of-the-art surgical facility, dedicated to the treatment of skin cancers, in Chevy Chase, Maryland in 2008. Joanna Dong, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgeon. She is a Volunteer Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and previously served as Clinical Instructor at Marion University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indiana. She has performed 1,000 Mohs surgeries and reconstructions.  

Dr. Dong grew up in Rockville, MD then moved to New York to attend Cornell University for her undergraduate studies, graduating summa cum laude. Stephen Suah, MD, MS, is a skilled dermatologist serving the community of Washington, DC, at Foxhall Dermatology.

Dr. Alison Ehrlich, a board certified dermatologist, is the former founding Chair and Director of Clinical Research in the Department of Dermatology at The George Washington University. After many years in academic medicine, she is now establishing her private practice in the Washington D.C area, but continuing to specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic contact dermatitis and psoriasis, as well as cosmetic dermatology. Sanna Ronkainen, M.D, F.A.A.D. is a board-certified dermatologist. Dr. Ronkainen is a Northern Virginia native, born and raised in Fairfax County. She graduated from St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School in Alexandria, and earned her B.A. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at Rice University in Houston, Texas. Upon graduation from Rice, she was awarded a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship--a grant to pursue research through travel in a topic of personal interest--studying type 1 diabetes. During her fellowship she traveled to Argentina, Tonga, India, Hong Kong, South Africa, and Tanzania. Dr. Ronkainen then completed a five-year combined residency in Dermatology and Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota, where she participated in the global health track and served as Chief Resident during her final year.
