Marc Zac Handler, MD, is an acclaimed lecturer and a board-certified academic dermatologist at Kessel Dermatology in Hamilton Square, New Jersey. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Handler is also an assistant clinical professor in dermatology at Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School.
He served as a Fellow in the United States House of Representatives and crafted cost-neutral legislation to combat HIV infection. He has received the Congressional Recognition Award three times from bipartisan House members for his work on health care policy and was named a Nebraska Admiral, by the Governor of the State of Nebraska, in recognition of service to the community. He has experience with medical news production, having worked with Sanjay Gupta, MD, at CNN’s medical unit, assisting with medical programming. Joshua Freedman, MD, MS, is a nationally recognized innovator in the field of dermatology and a board-certified dermatologist at Kessel Dermatology in Hamilton Square, New Jersey. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatological Surgeons, American Contact Dermatitis Society, and Florida Society of Dermatological Surgeons. He is a licensed physician in surgery and medicine in New Jersey and Florida.
Dr. Freedman trained as a dermatologist at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, in the prestigious department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, which is ranked among the Nation’s Top Ten Programs (US News & World Report 2015). During his training, he received numerous institutional and national awards for his inventions and innovations in cutting-edge dermatological technology for early skin cancer detection. Dr. Freedman completed his Medical education at Rush University Medical College and his internal medicine internship training at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital. While at Rush University, he served as the president of the Medical Student Surgery Group and researched at the Craniofacial Center for Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Freedman greatly enjoys and continues to seek out volunteer opportunities to give back to his community. Dr. Freedman has provided volunteer service for Florida Keys Health Fairs and Camillus House Homeless Shelter. Sydney Liang, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has a special interest in the prevention and surgical management of skin cancers, the treatment of acne and acne scarring, rosacea, psoriasis, cosmetic injectables, and laser treatments and resurfacing.
With a strong educational background and rigorous training, Dr. Liang completed her undergraduate degrees in cell biology, genetics, and human development at the University of Maryland, earning early acceptance to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society as a Junior and graduating with the highest honors of summa cum laude. Dr. Rallis obtained her Bachelor of Science degree with honors, followed by her medical degree with honors from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. During medical school, she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha society. She then completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Utah and became board certified in Medicine. However, dermatology was her calling, leading her to pursue a Dermatology residency at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. She remained on staff for seven years, becoming an Assistant Professor. Following a family decision to move to Greece, she became the Director of Dermatology at the Interbalkan European Medical Center in Northern Greece. She returned to the US in 2016, working as a dermatologist at Harvard Vanguard in Massachusetts before coming to NYC.
Dr. Rallis maintains active membership in the American Academy of Dermatology, The European Academy of Dermatology, and the American Contact Dermatitis Society. Her areas of interest include general medical dermatology in patients of all ages, with a focus on contact dermatitis, rashes, and comprehensive skin checks in our fight to prevent skin cancer.
Allison Jaekle is a Board Certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Allison was born and raised locally on Long Island. She attended Binghamton University for her undergraduate degree in History with a concentration in Public Health. She then attended Touro College for a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a Master in Physician Assistant Studies, where she received the Leadership, Academic, and Clinical Achievement awards upon graduation. She is currently an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, New York State Society of Physician Assistants, and the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants. Tobechi Ebede, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, founded Plaza Park Dermatology, located in the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.
She founded the practice with a simple philosophy: To educate and empower patients with the ability to maintain their skincare at home. This practical-yet-compassionate approach carries over to every aspect of her practice, which emphasizes timely, accessible, personalized treatment.
A graduate of Dartmouth College, Dr. Ebede earned her medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. She was voted “Intern of the Year” at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital before progressing to Dermatology residency training at Weill-Cornell/NYPH.
