Before transitioning to nursing, she graduated from medical school in China and gained one and a half years of experience as a gastrointestinal physician at an academic hospital in China.

Laverne Watts has over 14 years’ experience in nursing working in various hospital settings, clinics, physician offices, and skilled nursing facilities. Her experience spans from medical-surgical , post-operative care, gastroenterology, primary care and more. Ms. Watts obtained her associates degree in nursing at Goodwin College in East Hartford, Connecticut, then her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, Connecticut.
