Erin M. Heaslip is a board-certified music therapist and licensed social worker. Betrice Thompson is a highly experienced LCSW with over 30 years of dedicated service in the field of social work, specializing in geriatric issues, such as adjustment disorder, grief and loss, hospice, depression, anxiety, and caregiver support. She has assisted families and individuals through the difficult process of selecting alternative placement and services.

Betrice passion extends to working with the faith community, particularly clergy (pastors and their families) addressing issues related to mental health challenges often not discussed in the faith community.

Betrice holds several advanced degrees including a master’s in social work from the University of Oklahoma-Norman, a master’s in education with a specialty in gerontology from the University of Central Oklahoma-Edmond. Rebecca Ennis-Paez is a Clinical Social Work intern at Hudson River Care and Counseling, a mental health practice with two office locations in Hoboken and Teaneck, New Jersey. Telehealth services are also available.

Tzvi Doron D.O., DABOM CLS is board-certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Lipidology. He’s a patient-centered physician who started his career in general practice at a newly opened Federally Qualified Health Center in South Florida, where he helped grow the practice from scratch to a thriving practice in two years, providing much-needed care to the underserved. He then transitioned to healthtech leadership as employee #3 at Ro, one of the fastest growing healthcare startups in the U.S., where he served as their Chief Clinical Officer.

Dr. Doron is passionate about the role of exercise and nutrition as medicine and believes prevention should be the backbone of primary care. Irene is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer specializing in weight loss, injury prevention, corrective exercise, and glute development. With passion for promoting population health, Irene earned her Master of Public Health from the University of Southern California where she contributed to government-funded weight loss programs for adolescents and adults with obesity. These experiences reinforced her belief that nutrition and exercise are the best preventive “medicine” for chronic diseases and overall well-being. To deepen her expertise in holistic health approach, Irene pursued a Master of Science in Nutritional Science and Kinesiology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Dr. Matthew Rodgers trained at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and joins the practice after retiring from the Army after a 27-year career.  He is board certified in family medicine and sleep medicine with a focus on sleep medicine for the past 10 years.   He was the Army medical director for the virtual medical center for two years focusing on providing synchronous and asynchronous virtual health care throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Dr. Rodgers created virtual sleep medicine clinics to provide sleep testing and treatment to sites in four countries and eight sites, throughout Europe. Professionally he enjoys narcolepsy, sleep apnea and the complex interactions between sleep and PTSD.  Dr. Rodgers likes football, basketball, and baseball.  But ironically wasn’t good at any of them, so he played rugby for eight years and wrestled for fourteen and coached wrestling for five years.

Irene Diakogeorgios is a licensed registered pharmacist. Upon receiving her degree from Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy, Long Island University, Brooklyn  in 1991 Irene services the Astoria/Long Island City community for over thirty years. Todd Halper, MD, is a board-certified primary care doctor and family medicine physician at Halper Family Medicine in Rockville Centre and Bayport, New York. Dr. Halper grew up watching his father treat patients in his community and form lasting relationships throughout their care. Today, he works hard at his private practice to take care of his patients as if they’re members of his own family and helps them avoid getting ill with preventive care.

Dr. Halper earned his degree in medicine from the University of the West Indies Faculty of Medicine St. Augustine in Trinidad.
