Robert A. Bauer Jr., MSN, APRN, FNP-C joins BBC Health from Montrose, Michigan where he enjoyed spending his childhood. Fueled by a desire to serve others, Robert attended Michigan State University where he earned his Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. Following graduation, Robert accepted a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. His first duty station was in Minot, North Dakota where he served in a variety of humanitarian missions and obtained the rank of First Lieutenant. Upon achieving selection for training, Robert earned his Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska. From there, he was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas where he served for many years. As a part of the 52nd Airlift Squadron, his duties were varied with a focus on Aerospace Medicine. Through hard work and commitment, Robert proceeded to obtain the rank of Captain and served with distinction until December 2002.
After serving his country, Robert began working as a Primary Care Provider in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Physical Medicine, Urgent Care, and Alternative Medicine facilities. With over two decades of experience, Robert enjoys serving patients of all ages with family and physical medicine solutions.
