Dr. Yalamanchilli earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Sri Venkateswara Medical College Tirupati in India. She completed externships at Alma Illery Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, where she did clinical rotations in the critical care unit, intensive care unit, and internal medicine. She then completed her residency training in family medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) McKeesport Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Toghral completed his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. He then went on to pursue his Doctorate in Medicine (MD) at St. George's University School of Medicine in 2015. Once he received his medical degree, he sought the opportunity to further his specialty in family medicine through the Lynchburg Family Medicine Residency program, where he was eventually named intern of the year at the practice.
As a passionate physician who enjoys gaining broad experiences, Dr. Toghral is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and their peer-review journal, the American Family Physician. Josephine Anne Torno, MD, DipABLM, is a board-certified physician in family medicine and lifestyle medicine at Prima Medicine in Fairfax and South Riding, Virginia. Dr. Torno has a particular interest in the management of chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes. Dr. Torno started her education in medicine in the Philippines. In 2009, she graduated from the University of Santo Tomas, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, in Manila, the Philippines, as a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery.
She went on to complete a one-year internship at Philippine General Hospital, also in Manila, Philippines. Before coming to the US to continue her medical career, Dr. Torno worked as a research associate at the Philippine Pediatric Society, Inc. Dr. Torno then came to the US to complete her medical training at Wheeling Hospital, located in Wheeling, West Virginia. There she was a Family Medicine Resident from 2012 to 2015. She’s a member of both the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Virginia Academy of Family Physicians.
