Jordan Neumann is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Rush University. Prior to starting her career at Whole Health Chicago, she practiced as a nurse for over 5 years in emergency medicine, outpatient allergy & immunology, and as a frontline COVID-19 nurse throughout the pandemic. Furthermore, she has extensive experience with infusion therapies for health optimization and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. She has been instrumental in formulating our IV protocols for patients at WholeHealth Chicago.
Jordan conducted research on effective dietary interventions for Hashimoto’s thyroiditis at WholeHealth for her doctorate research, and also led research on the link between Vitamin D deficiency and COVID-19 risk during the pandemic. Her interest in functional medicine stems from a desire to provide patients with holistic solutions to complex health issues, instead of simply providing a temporary band aid solution.

Brett is an integrative nurse practitioner who is board certified in both internal medicine and sexual/reproductive medicine. Prior to joining Whole Health Chicago, Brett worked in OBGYN clinics where she was able to treat a variety of conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, PMS, PMDD, depression, anxiety, and perimenopausal/menopausal symptoms. She is trained in contraceptive management, including IUD/Nexplanon insertions and removals.
Brett received her MSN from Vanderbilt University, where she gained a plethora of experience working not only in general primary care and OBGYN clinics but also in specialty clinics such as memory care, sleep medicine, Vanderbilt’s PCOS Clinic, and Vanderbilt’s Clinic for Transgender Health.
Mark is board certified as a family nurse practitioner since 2015. Prior to Whole Health Chicago he worked as an APN serving the refugee and immigrant community as well as patients from Chicagoland area. His career in healthcare is rich with experiences including work with nursing home patients, home care, medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic and direct patient care as a medical surgical/float staff RN for 10 years.
Mark brings expertise in culturally competent care and proficiency in working with patients and families who are in need of assistance in navigating the healthcare world. Through his experience he has been able to incorporate techniques that are considerate of cultural norms while adapting to the educational and social needs of his clients. He is passionate about treating the whole patient and taking into consideration all aspects of their wellness including mental health, nutrition, disease prevention and lifestyle modifications.
Ruchir Thakkar, DO, is a board-certified family medicine specialist providing urgent care services to men, women, and children in Cicero, Roseland Illinois and the greater Chicago area. He’s honored to play a role in helping families find relief from the stress and uncertainties that accompany urgent care needs.
Dr. Thakkar is passionate about learning and began his studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Biology. He went on to study medicine at Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He then returned to Illinois to refine his skills through a residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
Urgent care is Dr. Thakkar’s preferred area of practice. Since completing his training he’s worked in several urgent care settings in Illinois, expanding his understanding of immediate care in each of those positions. He finds urgent care to be a dynamic, engaging, and rewarding field and enjoys the challenges of assisting patients in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Dr. Barrett attended Virginia Tech for his undergraduate degree, studying biochemistry. He earned his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Barrett’s treatment philosophy is one of empowering the patient: “Patients have the right to be heard and to partner with me to create a treatment plan appropriate for their individual needs and situation”. His clinical interests are primary care, preventative medicine and LGBT health.

Earning her medical degree from the University of Munich, Dr. Lengyel pursued further training in obstetrics and gynecology while in Germany before moving to the United States to work as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of California San Francisco. After publishing multiple articles and book chapters, Dr. Lengyel returned to clinical medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at West Suburban Medical Center.
Her treatment philosophy is to appreciate that every patient is different and in turn, to provide them with the deserved individual attention and treatment. She believes in listening to patients, educating them about their diagnosis and treatment options, and caring about their wellbeing. Dr. Lengyel values the inherent variety of Michigan Avenue Immediate Care’s patients who continually keep her “thinking, rethinking and learning”.

Jocelin Gamez, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Michigan Avenue Primary Care, a multispecialty practice located in The Loop of downtown Chicago, Illinois.
Jocelin earned her Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During her undergraduate years, she simultaneously worked as a certified pharmacy technician and certified emergency medical technician. She then earned her Master of Science in physician assistant studies at the University of Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!). Her interests include women’s health, providing healthcare to Spanish-speaking populations, and preventative medicine.
Jocelin loves that every day is different and that she gets to meet and build relationships with all kinds of people. She loves the continuity of her education through the ever-changing medical advances. She also enjoys being able to teach her patients while also learning from them.

Dr. Jeannette Kelly is a dedicated family physician, working in association with Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. She is a reputed alumna of Michigan State University, where she received her medical training and her bachelor’s degree. She completed a residency in family medicine at West Suburban Medical Center and advanced her clinical abilities in primary care sports medicine with a fellowship from MacNeal Hospital.
Dr. Kelly is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine with a sub-specialization in sports medicine.
