Dr. Monica Ramirez is a Dallas native who has just completed her residency at UT Health San Antonio.  She is excited to be back in Dallas and thrilled to be joining Southwest Family Medicine Associates.

 Sarah Ashitey, MD is board certified in Family Medicine and provides comprehensive care both for the individual and family. Dr. Niti Randhawa is a Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been a practicing physician for 20 years. She is a proud native of Plano, Texas where she graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1988. She did her undergraduate training in pre-med at Baylor University in Waco, Texas where she earned a BA in Biology in 1992. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1996 where she was classmates with Dr. Chrisette Dharma. She then completed her residency in family medicine in 1999 at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, one of the most prestigious family medicine programs in the state of Texas. 

Dr. Randhawa chose medicine as her lifelong calling at a very early age when it became clear that she had a deep desire to help others, especially those who suffered from illness and disease. Throughout her medical training and career, she developed a deep interest in combining traditional, natural medicine with proven complementary and alternative methods for healing. She continues to study and pursue this exciting side of medicine, because she feels strongly that both sides are necessary for helping patients to achieve optimal health and well-being. After completing her medical training, Dr. Randhawa was honored to work with a well known Complementary and Alternative Medicine physician in North Texas to hone in on this cutting edge aspect of medicine. Dr. Ebere Israel Azubuike, MD ("Dr. Izzy"), is a family doctor serving patients of all ages at Mercy Family Clinic in Dallas, Texas. He has about 15 years of experience, and he specializes in primary care and family medicine. 

Dr. Izzy Azubuike graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine in Galveston, Texas, in 2005. He completed his residency at the Methodist Health System Dallas, Texas, in 2008.

Robert A. Bauer Jr., MSN, APRN, FNP-C joins BBC Health from Montrose, Michigan where he enjoyed spending his childhood. Fueled by a desire to serve others, Robert attended Michigan State University where he earned his Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. Following graduation, Robert accepted a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. His first duty station was in Minot, North Dakota where he served in a variety of humanitarian missions and obtained the rank of First Lieutenant. Upon achieving selection for training, Robert earned his Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska. From there, he was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas where he served for many years. As a part of the 52^nd Airlift Squadron, his duties were varied with a focus on Aerospace Medicine. Through hard work and commitment, Robert proceeded to obtain the rank of Captain and served with distinction until December 2002.

After serving his country, Robert began working as a Primary Care Provider in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Physical Medicine, Urgent Care, and Alternative Medicine facilities.
