Joelle Estrada, MD, is a dedicated internal medicine physician with nearly two decades in practice. At AssociatesMD, Dr. Estrada provides patient-centered internal medicine in the Weston, Florida, office. 

Dr. Estrada was born in Manhattan, New York, and raised in Paraguay. She earned her medical degree at Universidad Nacional de Asunción in Asunción, Paraguay. 

Dr. Estrada completed her three-year internal medicine residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She stays up-to-date with her medical education to make sure her patients always receive optimal care.

Melinda Exume, MD, is an experienced primary care physician. She treats patients at AssociatesMD from their Margate, Florida, location. 

Dr. Exume completed her Bachelor of Science in biology and later earned her medical degree at the University of Florida, College of Medicine, in Gainesville, where she graduated with honors in research. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Florida Health (UF Health) in Jacksonville, where she honed her clinical skills. After completing her residency, she worked as a hospitalist, efficiently and effectively managing acute care patients. 

Advent Health awarded Dr. Exume “Excellence in Patient Satisfaction, Inpatient Top Performing Hospitalist” in 2020. In 2022, she transitioned to outpatient work with AMD to focus on a more holistic and preventative approach to medicine.

Dr. Exume is of Haitian descent and is fluent in Haitian Creole. Matthew Teltser, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist with over 20 years of experience. His expertise includes diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases, lipidology, nuclear cardiology, and preventive cardiology. Dr.Teltser serves patients at AssociatesMD in Davie, Florida. 

His success with patients stems from his philosophy that patients must be active partners in their treatment. An open dialogue allows his patients to make informed decisions with a clearly defined joint plan.

A native of New Jersey, Dr. Teltser graduated with honors from Rutgers University in New Brunswick and earned the "Rutgers Scholar" title through a senior research project at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, where he also completed medical school. 

After graduating, Dr. Teltser moved to Pennsylvania and became board-certified in internal medicine after training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. During his fourth year at MCP, Dr. Teltser was an internal medicine instructor while completing a clinical pharmacology fellowship. After Hurricane Katrina, she returned to Detroit and finished her residency training at the Detroit Medical Center.
