Dr. Estrada was born in Manhattan, New York, and raised in Paraguay. She earned her medical degree at Universidad Nacional de Asunción in Asunción, Paraguay. 

Dr. Estrada completed her three-year internal medicine residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She stays up-to-date with her medical education to make sure her patients always receive optimal care.

Melinda Exume, MD, is an experienced primary care physician. She treats patients at AssociatesMD from their Margate, Florida, location. 

Dr. Exume completed her Bachelor of Science in biology and later earned her medical degree at the University of Florida, College of Medicine, in Gainesville, where she graduated with honors in research. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Florida Health (UF Health) in Jacksonville, where she honed her clinical skills. After completing her residency, she worked as a hospitalist, efficiently and effectively managing acute care patients.

Matthew Teltser, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist with over 20 years of experience. His expertise includes diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases, lipidology, nuclear cardiology, and preventive cardiology. Dr.Teltser serves patients at AssociatesMD in Davie, Florida.

A native of New Jersey, Dr. Teltser graduated with honors from Rutgers University in New Brunswick and earned the "Rutgers Scholar" title through a senior research project at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, where he also completed medical school. 

After graduating, Dr. Teltser moved to Pennsylvania and became board-certified in internal medicine after training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Juan M. Escobar, MD, MPH, has over 27 years of experience in practicing cardiology. He is proud to bring his extensive experience to the team at AssociatesMD, where he sees patients from the office locations in Plantation and Weston, Florida. 

Dr. Escobar earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his internal medicine residency and fellowship at the same institution. Dr. Escobar achieved his board certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases and entry to the American College of Cardiology as a Fellow. 

Following his training, Dr. Escobar began his medical career in Dallas, where he initially worked as an Instructor of Medicine and later as an attending physician at Baylor Hospital. 

For five years, he was part of the Congestive Heart Failure and transplant service providing care to hospital patients and outpatients. He then moved to El Paso, Texas, where he practiced non-interventional cardiology for 20 years providing medical services in a medically underserved community. 

In 2019, Dr. Escobar began a personal goal of obtaining a Master of Public Health online at George Washington University with an emphasis on global health, a program he graduated from in August 2021. In 2022, he began a sabbatical year to allow time for volunteer work. 

For two months, he worked at the World Medical Missions in Kenya at the Tenwek Hospital and traveled to his native Colombia. Before joining AssociatesMD in July 2023, he worked for three months in a temporary capacity at Valley Verde Medical Center in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Amanda Berg, MD, is a skilled, board-certified internist at AssociatesMD in Plantation, Florida.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Berg completed medical school in Detroit at Wayne State University, then moved to New Orleans for her intern year at Tulane. After Hurricane Katrina, she returned to Detroit and finished her residency training at the Detroit Medical Center. Following her training, she followed the rest of her family to Florida for the sun and warm weather.

Dr. Berg is passionate about metabolic syndrome, including elevated cholesterol, diabetes, and hypertension, often working closely with patients on diet and nutrition to help improve these medical conditions. Andrea J. Ramsay, MD, is a skilled primary care physician serving patients from the Plantation, Florida, office of AssociatesMD. 

Dr. Ramsay always had a dream and desire to become a special kind of doctor. Growing up in Miami, Florida, she attended the University of Florida and St. George’s University School of Medicine to begin a lifelong journey and dedication to the medical profession.

As Dr. Ramsay decided on her specialty, she pursued training in Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Trauma, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Plastic Surgery, and then Family Medicine – Family Medicine became her true calling because she could do a little bit of everything.

After spending a year in Buffalo, New York, for a Family Medicine Internship, she returned home to complete her residency at the University of Miami. The Jackson Memorial Hospital experience allowed her to speak medical Spanish fluently. 

Since 2015, Dr. Ramsay has been with AssociatesMD. David Perloff, MD, PA, is a board-certified cardiologist who has served the community of Broward County since 1997. At Perloff Cardiovascular Care in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Dr. Perloff specializes in general, preventive, and invasive cardiology. 

Dr. Perloff received his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami, where he graduated summa cum laude. He earned numerous awards and honors, including the James McKnight award, the McGraw Hill book award, and the John M. Marsh Prize, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honorary society. He subsequently completed three years of internal medicine training and three years of invasive cardiology training at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.

He is a fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians. He is also the President of the Florida chapter of the American College of Cardiology and has been active on their Board of Directors for many years.
