He furthered his education with a residency at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, Michigan, where he learned modern and advanced surgical techniques for foot and ankle reconstruction.

Basil Rafiq, DPM, is an experienced foot and ankle surgeon offering comprehensive podiatric care encompassing non-surgical and surgical interventions. After graduation, Dr. Rafiq completed his residency at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. There, he received intensive foot and ankle surgical training, served as academic chief, and participated in clinical research. 

Dr. Rafiq is passionate about his field, as evidenced by his active involvement in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medical Association. He enjoys learning new techniques in training courses, attending professional conferences, and staying up to date with the latest literature. Chadi Saad, MD, a double board-certified nephrologist and internist with extensive experience in kidney care, focuses on preventive health care, patient education, and personalized treatment at his practice, Nephrocare MD, in Dearborn, Michigan.

In addition to preventing the progression of chronic kidney disease, Dr. Saad has special interests in hypertension nephrology, end-stage renal disease (ESRD), and supporting patient choices when faced with dialysis.
