I grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and went to college at North Dakota State University where I completed a degree in Zoology and competed in Track and Field. I then went to medical school at the University of North Dakota.
I enjoy developing relationships with my patients and helping them manage their chronic conditions including obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and chronic respiratory diseases. After my residency I plan on pursuing a career in primary care.
In my free time, I spend time with my family (wife, daughter, and golden retriever) and friends, and also enjoy running, reading, and playing pickleball.
I grew up in northern Virginia and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia (Go Hoos!) I then went to medical school at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine where I completed an additional year as a graduate teaching fellow in anatomy. I also spent time as a research assistant for the Exercise is Medicine team, and enjoyed conducting investigations into the anti-inflammatory mechanism of physical activity.
I am delighted to continue my medical training as an internal medicine resident at Sky Ridge Medical Center and as a part of Russak Personalized Medicine. I chose internal medicine so that I can focus on forming lasting relationships with my patients while managing each patient’s comprehensive medical care with an emphasis on wellness.
In my spare time, I enjoy running, soccer, ultimate frisbee, hiking, traveling, and salsa dancing. My husband and I are thrilled to make the move out to the great state of Colorado as I continue my medical training, and I am looking forward to treating my patients.
Born and raised in Ohio I have spent my early years growing up in Toledo and later years in the Dayton/Cincinnati area. I am a big time Browns, Ohio State football, and Dayton hoops fan. I love anything that will get me outdoors, active, and in the sun: hiking, skiing, water sports, you name it. However, I do really enjoy my leisure time with coffee, reading, and listening to all kinds of music. I am extremely thankful for having the opportunity to complete my residency training here in Colorado. I chose internal medicine to develop a skillset for managing a wide range of pathology while having the opportunity develop valuable relationships with my patients!
I was born and raised in Louisiana in a small town just outside of Baton Rouge called Denham Springs. I attended college at Louisiana Tech University, majoring in Biology, and playing baseball. I went to medical school at Louisiana State University’s School of Medicine in Shreveport.
In my spare time I love being outside in nature, so I'm excited about being able to live in Colorado. I love to fish, and I plan on getting into fly fishing while living here. My other interests include cooking, lifting weights, and hiking.
I'm evaluating what area of medicine I'd like to specialize in;regardless of my specialty, it is important to me to provide excellent care to each of my patients. That's what life is all about - folks taking care of folks!
