Shawn Hamilton, MD, has more than 20 years of experience as a board-certified physician in internal medicine. To achieve his goal of becoming a gastroenterologist, Dr. Lee earned his Doctor of Medicine from the George Washington University Medical School, and then went on to earn his Master of Public Health from the University of California School of Public Health. He completed his residency at the University of Southern California, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology/hematology. He is board-certified in gastroenterology/hepatology and internal medicine.
As part of his work, Dr. Lee knows that diseases can present in different ways because every human is unique. While training in fellowship, he could see how endoscopy is much more and can relieve a variety of issues and symptoms for patients, from removing a gallstone lodged in the bile duct, opening a stricture in the esophagus so a patient can swallow again or draining a cyst through endoscopic ultrasound.
Dr. Oman has interests in colorectal cancer prevention and diagnosis, stomach and esophageal disorders, small bowel disorders, as well as pancreas and biliary disorders, which include advanced pancreatic and biliary diagnosis and intervention (ERCP, EUS).
Throughout his career, he has earned numerous awards, including the Resident Consultant of the Year (Loma Linda Family Medicine) and the Internal Medicine Subspecialty Fellow of the Year (Loma Linda Internal Medicine). Heba Ashraf, MD, FACP is a gastroenterologist at Digestive Disease Consultants of Orange County with locations in Irvine, Huntington Beach, Tustin and Foothill Ranch, California. She is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

She believes her role as a physician is to provide her patients with accurate information and work as a team to accomplish their goals and improve overall health and well-being.
