I want to start by saying I am honored and excited about the opportunity to serve you or your family’s needs. I have been married since May of 1992 and in our marriage, my wife and I are blessed with three children. In 2016, I completed a 20 year Full-Time career in the U.S. Army where I have many of my own experiences concerning trauma, family hardships, deployments, separation, reintegration, and a global-cultural view of over 20 countries. My practice revolves around Systems Theory, Family Therapy, and Person Centered Therapy. All of which I am able to integrate in to a Biblical counseling process. I have been serving clients globally since June 2015 and have extensive experience with relationship development/therapy, PTSD of veterans and civilians, parenting/co-parenting, trauma, loss/grief, addictions, anxiety, depression, men’s issues, and many others. I base my therapy techniques on Inter-Generational aspects, Emotional Focus Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment models.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly a decade as a 9-1-1 Communications Dispatcher, supporting people through some of their most critical moments. That experience taught me to remain calm, empathetic, and present—qualities I now bring into my work with clients. I’m currently completing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science. As a Bay Area native shaped by my Latinx heritage and my family’s immigrant journey, I value inclusivity, cultural awareness, and connection.
