Sheila joined Blue Water Counseling in Dec. of 2022, as the next step in a career that has spanned 47 years. In that time, she has had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide array of issues. As a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Sheila has worked in a variety of settings including in-patient psychiatric units, residential treatment, Family Court, and as a Military and Family Life Counselor on Active Duty military bases in Korea, England, Germany and Italy. Sheila also found time to get a second Master's degree in Homeopathy, and to train extensively in Systemic Constellation work. Most recently, Sheila has been certified to provide Acceleratebeen working in the psychiatric field since graduating from college. I am especially interested in assisting my clients to overcome adverse childhood experiences, develop self esteem, and create boundaries in their lives that provides for sarisfaction a effective self care.
