I offer a compassionate and comprehensive approach to help you achieve your goals in a safe and caring environment. My approach is client-centered and strength-based, utilizing various tools, including DBT, CBT, and ACT.
I have a rich and diverse background in mental health, focusing on mood disorders, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, PTSD, postpartum depression, anxiety, ADHD, and behavioral struggles. My experience with DBT and working in residential facilities for youth has given me valuable insights and skills.
Throughout my life, I have faced many obstacles and learned to open up, heal, and allow others to support me. I understand that asking for help and support is hard, but it is worth it—you are worth it. My journey has allowed me to become a person filled with compassion and warmth, which I thoroughly enjoy sharing with others. Let's embark on this journey together. I'm here to support you every step of the way.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience with various levels of treatment and patient needs. I have an integrative method of care that include modalities and tools such as CBT, EMDR, Narrative and Solution-Focused therapy. I work best with young adults navigating transitioning into early adulthood, new moms dealing with anxiety/depressive symptoms, and older adults dealing with an empty nest and a future of retirement. I am empathetic but challenging through our exploratory sessions and trauma work. My patients who are willing to address symptoms of anxiety, trauma, and depression tend to feel more confident and empowered in their personal lives during and after treatment.
“I am grateful for her understanding and candor. There has been some resistance on my part, however, she has created a safe environment for me and has permitted me to share my emotions without fear of judgment.”
