Dr. Valley graduated from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington, with a bachelor’s degree in human biology. He initially intended to pursue a conventional medical degree. However, he changed his mind because of his keen interest in exercise science, clinical nutrition, and preventive medicine.
Dr. Valley attended the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon, which is the oldest naturopathic accredited medical school in the United States. He graduated in 2004 with a doctorate in naturopathic medicine.
Following his graduation, Dr. Valley practiced in family medicine for seven years, with a focus on sports medicine, inflammatory and autoimmune disorders, and endocrinology.
As his interest in helping patients with arthritis grew, he made the move into specialist practice at Arthritis Northwest PLLC.
