Derek A. Kram, MD, FAAOS is a board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience in General Orthopaedic Care, Knee Reconstruction and Sports Medicine. He has practiced for over twenty years at the Greater Washington Orthopaedic Group, PA, with offices in Silver Spring, Rockville, and Germantown, Maryland. Dr. Kram provides a wide range of effective treatments, services and procedures. He specializes in knee replacement surgery, sports medicine, and arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, Dr. Raffo attended medical school at the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He stayed at Georgetown University Hospital for his residency training in orthopedic surgery, where he was chief resident. After graduating from medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Underwood completed his residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) in Richmond, Virginia. The medical field of PM&R specializes in maximizing the performance of patients in both elite and everyday activities.
After residency training, Dr. Underwood completed his sports medicine fellowship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He has served as a team physician for high schools and universities, including the NCAA Division 1 TCU Horned Frogs and Longwood University Lancers.

Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota. She continued her education with a family nurse practitioner program, earning her master's degree from the University of Phoenix in Honolulu, Hawaii, before serving five years of active duty in the United States Air Force.
Lisa specializes in treating all general orthopaedic conditions, specifically arthritis management. With over 20 years of nursing experience, she brings exceptional experience with orthopaedics and family care, only further broadening the range of services offered to her patients.

Randall S. Peyton, MD, is an award-winning, board-certified surgeon who has been practicing orthopaedics in the Northern Virginia area since 1995.
