Following this, he pursued residency training in Anesthesia at the University of Florida, where he served as Chief Resident. During his residency, Dr. Wilkinson was honored with the title of Resident Educator of the Year for his dedication to medical education and leadership in patient care.

Furthering his expertise in pain management, Dr. Wilkinson completed an Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Virginia.

Allen Hord, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist at two Alliance Spine & Pain locations in Atlanta and Sandy Springs, Georgia. As the medical director, Dr. Hord holds a wealth of experience in interventional pain techniques, providing pain management services for over 30 years. 

Dr. Hord has been practicing medicine, teaching, and researching for over 16 years. He has dedicated his professional life to advancing the field of pain medicine as well as developing the skills of future professionals.
