Georgia Pain Management in Woodstock, Georgia, offers nonsurgical relief from acute and chronic pain to people of all ages.
James Ellner, MD, is an experienced, board-certified interventional pain management expert who understands that pain is a physical and emotional block to healing, and he makes unwavering patient care the focus of his practice.
Pain often persists despite careful treatment, making chronic pain management difficult for patients and their physicians. Chronic pain also increases the risk of physical disability, drug dependence, and psychosocial dysfunction.
Interventional treatments form the basis of all patient care at Georgia Pain Management. These approaches use minimally invasive methods that interfere with pain signal transmission within the body.
Interventional pain management lessens the need for surgery and enables patients to return to normal life.
The wide-ranging conditions the team at Georgia Pain Management treats include causes of back and neck pain like herniated discs, sciatica, and spinal stenosis, and nerve-related problems such as diabetic neuropathy.
Interventions include epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency neurotomy, percutaneous cervical disc nucleoplasty, and spinal cord stimulation, including cutting-edge HF10 spinal cord stimulators. Procedures take place at the state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center on-site.
Dr. Ellner treats all of his patients with respect and compassion, aiming to see them quickly so they can begin healing. Call Georgia Pain Management today or book an appointment online to benefit from his expertise.
Dr. Ellner is passionate about the time he spends with his three sons. When Dr. Ellner is not participating in his sons' sports and scouting activities, you might find him on the tennis court. He also likes to travel and ski. He will always be a die-hard New York Yankees fan.
