Douglas Constant, MD, is a board-certified pain management physician at the 360 Orthopedic locations in Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch, Florida. He specializes in interventional treatments of the neck and spine and has a special interest in all forms of spinal injections, including epidural and facet injections and ablations. Dr. Constant performs advanced procedures such as Vertiflex and MILD (Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression) for spinal stenosis, spinal cord stimulation, and peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS), including SPRINT, Nalu, and Nevro systems. Ashot Kotcharian, MD, is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physician and interventional pain management specialist at 360 Orthopedics in Sarasota, Venice, and Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
Dr. Kotcharian earned his Bachelor of Science in bio-chemistry and molecular biology at Nebraska Wesleyan University. He then earned his medical degree at the University of Toledo College of Medicine in Ohio. He completed both his internship and residency in PM&R at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania before completing an interventional spine and sports medicine fellowship at the same institution.
Dr. Kotcharian previously served a most distinguished career in medicine as Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and as Assistant Fellowship Director of the Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Fellowship, both at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is an expert at both diagnostic and interventional fluoroscopic-guided spinal procedures including steroid injections, nerve blocks, and radiofrequency denervation.
Dr. Kotcharian enjoys outdoor activities with his family and is a “foodie”. He is active in the sport of martial arts since his youth and continues to practice Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Karate.
