Great Doctor. I'm so glad I have found him. Very knowledgeable, professional and caring doctor. I never really got a good experience with Doctors in the USA, so I normally go once a year to my country and get all the tests at onceShow more. I had an emergency and needed to find a doctor as soon as possible. A friend of mine told me about another doctor in the same location, since he wasn't available I got an appointment with Dr. Hecht, and I was amazed with his service and attitude. I'm glad I can say I finally can trust a doctor. Second time I went, I got some lab tests and he called me to tell me about the results. First time in my whole life a doctor calls me instead of making me get an appointment to tell me about the results. He really follows up with the patient and shows the caring.
I was admitted to the hospital after an exam by Dr.Hecht in his office. I had been vomiting blood and needed an endoscopy. Dr.Hecht made sure I saw a gastroenterologist quickly and they set up time for the procedure the next morniShow moreng (Sunday). The endoscopy went smoothly and the care was excellent. Fortunately for me,Dr. Hecht was on call the night I stayed in the hospital and took excellent care of me. I was released late afternoon on Sunday feeling tired but much better. Dr.Hecht saw me for a follow up a week later continuing his excellent care. The whole experience was handled the way you hope everyone’s is but usually isn’t.

This doctor and he’s not fast to just give you medication. He is looking for causes. He spends time with patients which means that sometimes you have to wait. That was my only complaint I had to wait almost an hour .
