I’ve seen Dr. Bryant for over 12 years and she is just wonderful. I just delivered my second baby via c-section and ended up with a complication that changed the routine “plan” we had and she could not have been better. She and heShow morer team got other teams involved when needed to plan for the surgery, she called me personally a few times to talk me through everything and answer questions. She was so patient and repeated info for me and then did it all again for my husband when we got to the hospital. She called me herself a few days later to check in, even when I had an appointment scheduled for the following day. You can tell she truly cares about her patients. And her team was wonderful with every aspect of this complicated journey, and have helped with documents and paperwork needed for my job.
After many years with my doctor, he has retired, and I needed someone new. This time I decided I would ask to see a woman to discuss some problems I felt easier to talk about with a stranger who was also a woman. I cannot say enouShow moregh about how at ease I was. From the minute Dr. Hungerford walked into the room, I was put at ease. She listened, and asked questions about me. I feel a trust in her, and hopefully a long doctor/patient relationship in the future.
Gwyneth Bryant, MD, offers compassionate medical care at The Association for Women’s Health Care serving women who live in The Loop in Chicago and Northbrook, Illinois. She provides thorough care to all patients, but is particularly interested in minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery – including robotic-assisted surgery. She also specializes in abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, and abnormal PAP smears. Women benefit from her contraception counseling, preconception counseling, and expertise in hypertension in pregnancy. Trust her with matters of pediatric and adolescent gynecology, too.
Dr. Bryant has a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences with a minor in psychology from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She completed medical school at Rush Medical College in Chicago and did her internship and residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
She’s affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Prentice Women’s Hospital, both in Chicago, and is on the faculty of the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Dr Bryant is kind, patient, and understanding. She’s so thorough and makes sure to answer every possible question and even answer questions the patient didn’t know they had!
I never feel that Dr. Bryant is rushing me. She always takes the time to answer my questions and gives me good sources of information to help me make decisions. She shows a lot of empathy and humanity, which I really appreciate. I've been seeing her for many years now, and really value her as one of my most important healthcare partners.
