About Mrs. Torsch

Tammy Torsch, ARNP, is a skilled nurse practitioner specializing in gastroenterology. She proudly serves patients at the Moline, Illinois, location of Digestive Disease Specialists.

Raised in Iowa, Tammy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marycrest College. She continued to Trinity College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Rock Island, Illinois, where she received her master’s in nursing.

Following her graduate degree, Tammy began working as a nurse in several healthcare settings. She worked in a neurology unit, as a case manager in Hospice, and as a registered nurse helping patients with pain management. Tammy finally discovered her passion for gastroenterology after working with Dr. Chotiprasidhi and Dr. Cheema. For the last 10 years, Tammy has exclusively nursed as a gastroenterology specialist.

Consistently pursuing the latest advancements in the field, Tammy earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Tammy has been a resident of the Quad Cities since 1992. She is married and has two children.
