Following completion of his residencies, Dr. Pawar completed Fellowships in Vascular Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania, Endovascular Neurosurgery and Interventional Radiology at Abington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania, and Advanced Vascular Neurology at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is coming to us from Duke University Medical Center where he served as Stroke Medical Director. He is widely published. He has varied interests and has participated in multiple clinical trials.

He pursued fellowship training in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry at the Columbia University Medical Center Division of Aging & Dementia and after fellowship was recruited to the faculty of Weill Cornell Medicine, where he served as the Director of Research, Alzheimer’s Prevention Clinic. He founded Honeybrains, a restaurant dedicated to public brain health, and the neuro well. He has published over twenty peer-reviewed scientific articles.
