Lynn has over 33 years of experience working in Child Welfare as a licensed social worker and as a mental health therapist. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults dealing with ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders and interpersonal/relationship issues. She especially enjoys working with teenagers and young adults who are dealing with anxiety and managing life’s expectations.

Heather is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor who graduated from Shippensburg University with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and attended Johns Hopkins University for additional speciality educational credits. Heather began her work in Mental Health working in a Child/Adolescent In-Patient Psychiatric Unit which specialized in Family Therapy. She interned with a Private Practice and was hired upon graduation. She treated individuals, couples, family and ran several groups. Upon moving to Maryland, she began work in several Middle and High Schools, seeing students referred by the Student Assistance Team at each school. Heather uses an Eclectic Approach to assist clients deal with their unique issues, strengths, and circumstances based on the goals each strives to achieve, with an emphasis on Client-Centered, Strength-Based, Solution-Focused, Positive approaches.
Melissa graduated from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and currently holds her LCSW-C and is a Board-Certified Supervisor. Melissa has over 20 years of experience working in the Mental Health Field with children, families, and adults. Throughout Melissa’s career, she has worked with clients of a wide range of different ages and settings. Melissa draws on a large range of therapeutic approaches to help her clients.

Michelle is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. She has been part of Balance Point Wellness, as an intern, for over a year. Michelle started her journey as a Healthcare Leadership Coach, receiving her Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University certification.
She looks forward to integrating her counseling and coaching skills to work with clients on finding balance and self-acceptance while removing barriers.
Nadiyah is a Licensed Master Social Worker who earned her graduate degree in social work from Fordham University. She has experience working with youth, young adults, and families in residential, school, and community mental health settings. She uses a strength-based approach to help individuals to discover their potential and improve their wellness.
With a lifelong dedication to people, Nia is a licensed mental health professional and partners with her clients through transparency and care. Nia’s sessions are guided by the quote “I am one of you”, meaning that she lives with Depression, Anxiety, ADHD and PTSD and understands the power of mental healthcare from both sides of the clinical couch. Nia is a native Baltimorean, and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Morgan State University in 2010, and returned to her Alma Mater to receive her Masters of Social Work.
Sophie has experience working with adults and youth experiencing a range of presenting problems such as anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, trauma and PTSD, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. She is passionate about helping individuals gain insight into themselves, validate their own emotions and needs, and strive to be the best version of themselves. Sophie utilizes CBT, emotion-focused approaches, trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness and acceptance-based practices, and motivational techniques. She has experience working with various individuals, including trauma survivors, adults with mental health diagnoses, and youth with autism, ADHD, and other behavioral concerns. With over 25 years in mental and behavioral health, she has worked with youth, adults, and families, including at-risk youth, using team-based, wraparound approaches, and supporting those involved in child welfare. Her eclectic, strengths-based, person-centered approach helps clients explore their stories and how they connect to emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Anna tailors goals and interventions to each individual, fostering self-awareness, perspective shifts, and positive life changes in a supportive environment.
Annmarie is passionate about empowering her clients to manage change – both the changes they desire and the unexpected changes that life throws at them. Annmarie enjoyed a 2-decades-long career as a college professor and brings her passion and energy for helping others to this new chapter in her life. Annmarie provides adventure and eco therapies at the Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center as well as telehealth and in-office services at the Hunt Valley location. She is a general EMDR practitioner and certified anxiety treatment professional.
Arianna is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counsselor who obtained a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology with a Counseling Concentration from The University of Baltimore. Arianna is passionate about working with teenagers and adults between the ages of 15 to 45. Arianna has training experience with diagnoses which include(but are not limited to) depression, anxiety, PTSD, and personality disorders. She also has experience in helping people with disability management, identity confusion, panic attacks, low self-esteem, and suicidal ideation.

Beth is a Certified Veterinary Social Worker and also specializes in support after pet loss or separation. In her free time she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time outdoors with her family.
Connor is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who earned her Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in the clinic and farm setting. Connor’s clinical experience includes helping clients with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ASD, trauma, and more.
Connor provides equine-facilitated therapy at our farm location and in-clinic and telehealth services. She describes her approach to counseling as integrative and holistic, utilizing a person-centered approach, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). In addition, she believes in building a collaborative and supportive relationship with her clients to help them feel empowered in their own therapeutic journey.
Daniel received his social work license with a concentration in behavioral health from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Daniel has experience working with adolescents and adults of all ages seeking support for challenges such as ADHD, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship problems. In addition to his clinical experience, Daniel provided workshops on various topics, including happiness, productivity, relationship skills, and trauma.
His primary approach is CBT and other techniques, such as motivational interviewing, psychodynamic, systems, and existential modalities. Daniel allows the nature of his clients’ personalities and challenges to dictate which particular modality best suits them. He believes that optimal results from therapy originate from the very nature of the client-therapist relationship itself.
Liz is a licensed master of social work who earned her degree from University of Maryland. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Liz specializes in working with LGBTQ+ concerns, trauma and PTSD, self-esteem issues, crisis, anxiety, and depression. She works with various modalities, such as CBT and DBT, often taking an eclectic approach to therapy, as each person is unique and deserves an individualized treatment. Liz believes that healthy communication, a strong support system, coping skills, and hope are the perfect recipe for growth. She promotes a sense of belonging and unconditional respect to her clients as they progress through life.
