Dr. Wynatte Chu believes everyone can have a beautiful, healthy smile.  And each smile is unique in and of itself.  It is a journey and an adventure to achieve that smile and Dr. Chu is there to guide her patients along the way.  Dr. Chu has two convenient office locations. One is in New York City, right between Chinatown and Tribeca, with easy access to public transportation. The other location is in Westport, CT. 

Born in New York City and raised in Westport, Dr. Chu has deep roots in the communities she serves.  She moved into the family business and practiced alongside her father, Dr. Naitan Chu for a number of years immediately after dental school.  She is now the sole practitioner in her family’s practice.

After earning her bachelor’s degree at Mount Holyoke College, she completed graduate studies in molecular biology and genetics at Long Island University where she was inducted into the Beta Gamma Chapter of the Phi Sigma Biological Honor Society.

In 2004, she completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at New York University, College of Dentistry, followed by additional studies in advanced techniques and technology, including Invisalign®, soft tissue lasers, and dental implants.

Alexander Kimon, DMD, was born and raised in Sparta, New Jersey. He earned a dual degree in mathematics and chemistry at New York University, where he graduated at the top of his class. Dr. Kimon attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston and completed his dentistry degree with top honors. He has been a dedicated member of the team at Downtown Dental Studio serving the Financial District of New York since 2011.

Despite his many years of training and experience, Dr. Kimon takes an active role in continuing education for himself and his patients. He takes the time to get to know and educate each individual he treats. Karina Zaygermakher, DMD, is an associate dentist at Downtown Dental Studio, located in the Financial District of New York. She studied biology at the University of Massachusetts and earned her degree in dental medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr.Zaygermakher completed her residency at the Department of Corrections in Rhode Island.

Dr.Zaygermakher emphasizes good dental health as a cornerstone to good overall health. Although she is trained in general dentistry practices, she also takes great pride in continuing her own education.

Dr. Yang’s thirst for education led her to a challenging two-year dental implant program, after which she successfully completed advanced studies in dental implants. She has performed for more 500 hours of implant training and placed hundreds of dental implants for her patients.

Adam Nusblatt, DMD, is an experienced dentist in New York City with a passion for creating healthy and beautiful smiles. Dr. Bar graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He further completed a dental residency program in advanced restorative dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where he has mastered the latest techniques in sedation dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, dental implants, and surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Yeshiva University in New York City.

Before joining our office, Dr. Bar practiced dentistry in Philadelphia, PA and completed a TMD and orofacial pain postgraduate program at the University of Minnesota School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Bar is a premier provider of Invisalign, an alternative to braces and orthodontic treatment. Dr. Bar is a US army officer and is proudly serving our country as Captain for the New York National Guard. He has recently completed a rigorous combative and leadership course and now contributing to research and providing dental and medical care for the US Army. The founder and director of Dr. I Dental PC, Dr. Emmanuil Ilyayev DDS, is one of America’s Top Dentists according to the Consumers Research Council of America’s.
