Dr. Kleinman is originally from New York City but has been in North Carolina for over 30 years. She obtained her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Dartmouth College. She then went to medical school and did her dermatology training at UNC Hospitals. She has taught dermatology in Mexico, Cambodia and Costa Rica and previously served as a volunteer attending dermatologist at the VA Hospital in Durham, teaching dermatology residents and medical students. She has two daughters. When not at work Dr. Kleinman can be found riding her bicycle, practicing yoga, traveling, cooking or reading. Dr. Kleinman works in our Sanford and Pittsboro offices and speaks Spanish.

He is married to Dr. Ellen Flanagan, an anesthesiologist at Duke Hospital in Durham. Dr. Cheesborough and Dr. Flanagan frequently travel for volunteer wildlife and medical projects. They have volunteered in Belize, Haiti, Peru, Nepal and several African countries. Dr. Cheesborough and his wife have four children, two precious granddaughters and live on a farm with lots of animals including fainting goats. Dr. Cheesborough enjoys gardening, fishing, golf and hunting. Dr. Cheesborough works in our Sanford and Pittsboro offices.
