A graduate of Duke University Medical School, Dr. Burk served for many years as Head of the Division of Dermatology at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where he continues to instruct residents and fellows as a volunteer teaching attending.
Dr. Burk was also an assistant professor and co-director of the Dermatology Training Program at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Juliana Williams, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology services at West Derm Center’s Riverdale office in the Bronx, New York.
Juliana has 10 years of experience in clinical trials. She served as a sub-investigator for trials on device studies, inpatient and outpatient studies, and first-in-man studies, and was responsible for the subjects of the clinical trials throughout. The studies covered areas such topics as diabetes, schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s disease, cold sores, antioxidants, and insomnia.
At West Derm Center, Juliana provides a range of cosmetic and medical dermatological services and procedures, including mole and skin tag removal, Botox® and fillers, skin cancer screenings, and psoriasis treatments. Her patients receive individualized skin care treatments based on their personal skin concerns and needs.

Shira Wieder, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and one of the newest members of the West Derm Center team. Her passion, training, and vigilance serve her patients well at West Derm Center’s Riverdale office located in the Bronx, New York.
Dr. Wieder earned her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx in 2015. She followed with a year at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, New York, studying how to spot early biomarkers of melanoma.
From there, Dr. Wieder served a one-year internship in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York, and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. This was followed by a three-year dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she served as chief resident in her final year
From the very start, Dr. Wieder has proven herself an expert researcher, and she’s already been published in a number of prestigious journals, including the Journal of the American Medical Association and the Journal of Investigative Dermatology.
Dr. Wieder has also received multiple research grants and was invited to speak at the International Society of Dermatopathology conference and the Winter Clinical Dermatology Conference in Hawaii.

Jonathan Beschloss, MD, FAAD, is a native of Westbury, and he’s proud to serve his home community at All Island Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Laser Center, in Glen Cove and Garden City, New York.
Dr. Beschloss has a diverse background of service, and is committed to care centered around patients and their families. He focuses on partnerships and patient education to deliver the highest quality dermatology services. He’s skilled in all areas of dermatology, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic.
A board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Beschloss is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He received his medical degree at Cornell Medical College in 2005 after serving 10 years as an aviator in the United States Navy.
Dr. Beschloss subsequently continued his naval service as a flight surgeon completing tours in Iraq with the United States Marine Corps. He went on to complete his Dermatology residency at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and National Institutes of Health in 2012.
Dr. Beschloss led restorative care efforts for wounded warriors as the head of dermatology at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, using the latest dermatologic and laser technology to help active duty members, their families, and veterans with disfiguring scars and comprehensive dermatologic care.

Samantha Busgith is a licensed and certified Family Nurse Practitioner at All Island Dermatology Plastic Surgery & Laser Center in Glen Cove and Garden City, New York.
Samantha earned her Master of Science in nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner post-master's degree at Columbia University, and is currently working on her clinical Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Columbia University with a focus in dermatology.
Prior to completing her Family Nurse Practitioner degree, Samantha worked in dermatology for 12 years and this is where she developed her passion for this field. She worked under the guidance of physicians providing care to a wide demographic of patients with special focus on medical dermatology. Samantha is known for her caring, competent, and compassionate nature even when dealing with the most challenging cases.
