Joseph Goin, MD, is a general practice physician, board-certified in pediatrics and family medicine. He treats patients at Calvary Urgent Care in Humble, Texas.

Eva Hinojosa, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Eva was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, and moved to the Rio Grande Valley with her family at age 10. She graduated cum laude from St. Edwards University in Austin with a Bachelor’s in Biology in 2017. Eva received several academic scholarships throughout her academic career and maintained a position on the Dean’s List. After college, she spent her first postgraduate year working in the Emergency department and volunteering at rural clinics in Mexico and Peru. Eva then attained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. She is bilingual and motivated to help the Corpus Christi community in their skin needs. Eva’s interest in helping the community and passion for overall skin care is what drove her to pursue a field in dermatology; her interest was further motivated during her clinical rotations. Annie Chang, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Houston. 

Annie is originally from the Houston area and attended high school at St. Agnes Academy. She graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Nutrition in Business. She obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UTMB in 2019. 

Before completing her graduate studies, she gained hands-on experience working as a clinical care coordinator in hepatology at the Houston Medical Center.

In addition to her background in nutrition, Annie holds a keen interest in skin care and in preventative medicine through lifestyle and diet. Building a strong relationship with every patient is an integral part of her practice. Having received personal training in dermatology from Dr. Alpesh Desai, DO, and Tejas Desai, DO, Annie practices medical dermatology, skin cancer surgeries, and other various skin procedures. Brianna Kay, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in New Braunfels and Gonzales and San Antonio.

She earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2012. After graduation, Brianna sub-specialized in medical and surgical dermatology and completed a 10-month internship with a board-certified dermatologist in New Braunfels, TX. 

She earned the title of Diplomate Fellow under the Society of Dermatology PAs (SDPA). The SDPA Fellowship Program represents the standard in dermatology physician assistant education, allowing graduates to demonstrate that they have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional patient care in dermatology.

Brianna has been practicing dermatology for over nine years. She is passionate about patient education and preventative medicine, focusing on helping her patients to understand their health and skin care needs. Due to personal experiences, Brianna takes a special interest in auto-immune conditions, such as psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa. Francis Dang, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Lake Jackson. She joined the team in 2020.  

Francis graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences in Austin, Texas. She then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she completed a dietetic internship in the Texas Medical Center and earned a Master in Public Health. Her master’s has a special focus on health promotion and behavioral sciences. 

She later returned to her hometown of Dallas, where she worked for six years as a registered dietitian for the UT Southwestern Solid Organ Transplant Program. During that time, her passion and interest for medicine grew, and she decided to pursue a new career as a physician assistant. In 2019, she completed a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Radford University in Roanoke, Virginia.

During her time as a registered dietitian, Francis cared for patients with a variety of medical conditions and learned the importance of patient-centered and preventative healthcare, all based on evidence-based medicine. She carried these values with her throughout her medical training and continues to uphold them as a physician assistant. Her interest and passion for dermatology came after experiencing the inner workings of a dermatology clinic during her clinical rotations. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

In her free time, Francis enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and Yorkie pup, Leo. She enjoys cooking, relaxing at home, and trying new restaurants with her husband. She is looking forward to helping patients feel healthy and comfortable in their own skin. 

Andrea Bowden, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Tomball, Texas. She joined the practice in 2022

Andrea grew up in Round Rock, TX. She graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with her Bachelor of Science in Health. She then went on to receive her Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2017. Prior to completing her graduate studies, Andrea worked as a medical assistant in dermatology which motivated her to focus her sights on becoming a dermatology PA.

Prior to her arrival at Heights Dermatology, Andrea specialized in gastroenterology at UTMB in League City, TX. She has received personal training in dermatology from Dr. Alpesh Desai, DO, and Dr. Tejas Desai, DO. She practices in the areas of general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. Andrea has a passion for providing a positive bed-side manner to formulate a diagnosis. Her goal is to actively collaborate with her patients to come up with an effective treatment plan that works for each individual patient.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. During this time, she discovered a passion for clinical care, which compelled her to pursue a career in medicine. She previously practiced in obstetrics and gynecology before moving into dermatology, a field of special interest to her.
