Marlene continued on to Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan, where she earned her master’s degree in nursing with advanced training for the full scope of nurse practitioner. She groomed specialized skills in pain management while serving as a pre-operative/recovery nurse in diverse clinical settings, such as surgical intensive care and trauma units. Previously, Marlene worked for the American Surgical Centers and William Beaumont Hospital. Dr. Farago is a family medicine trained, board certified physician. His experience includes general family medicine as well as addiction and non-interventional pain medicine. He has expertise using both buprenorphine and methadone for the treatment of chronic opioid dependency. He is licensed in the both the USA as well as Canada to practice medicine. His DEA exemption allows him to prescribe Suboxone in the US for substance abuse. He is a licensed MRO for urine drug screening and is currently consulted for opioid management.

As a life long resident of Genesee County, my roots run very deep.
