Randy Armstrong, MD, is an experienced and compassionate OB/GYN at Garcia Weight Loss Aesthetics & Hormone Therapy serving patients in Brandon, Palm Harbor, Tampa, and South Tampa, Florida. He completed his undergraduate degree at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. Dr. Armstrong was then accepted into the charter class at the University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida.
After receiving his medical degree, he became an intern and resident in the OB/GYN department at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida, serving as chief resident from 1977-1978. After completing his residency, Dr. Armstrong joined Dr. Jay Garcia at his private OB/GYN practice and became board certified in 1980.
Dr. Garcia and Dr. Armstrong ran a successful OB/GYN practice in Tampa for 27 years. In 2004, Dr. Garcia retired to start what would soon become the most successful and respected weight management, aesthetics, and hormone replacement practice in Tampa.
Just one year in, Dr. Garcia asked Dr. Armstrong to join him in this practice, bringing together two long-term friends and medical partners.

Originally from Haiti, Dr. Sylvestre has called Florida her home since moving to the United States as a teenager. She earned her Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary studies with a specialization in integrative biology from the University of Florida. She then graduated with her Master of Science in biomedical sciences and her medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine. Finally, she completed her OB/GYN residency at Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Dr. Sylvestre has special interests in high-risk obstetrics, benign gynecology, minimally invasive gynecological surgery (including laparoscopy and robotic surgery), office procedures, and preventive medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Medical Association, and Society of Gynecologic Surgeons.
Outside of work, Dr. Sylvestre enjoys traveling, learning different languages and cultures, playing multiple musical instruments and sports, web designing, participating in community service, and spending time with her family.
Rubin Raju, MBBS, MD, MS, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Sarasota OB/GYN Associates in Bradenton and Venice, Florida. He specializes in women’s pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
Originally from Lilongwe, Malawi, Dr. Raju attended medical school at Maulana Azad Medical College and trained at Lok Nayak Hospital in New Delhi, India. After graduating in 2010, he worked as a clinical observer in obstetrics and gynecology at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and Whittington Hospital in London, England.
Dr. Raju completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Michigan State University’s Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. Beginning in 2016, he worked as a community obstetrics and gynecology provider with the Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing, Minnesota. Dr. Raju has also served as an obstetrician and gynecologist with the United States Army Reserve since 2016.
Dr. Raju returned to school in 2019, completing his master’s degree in biomedical sciences and his fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstruction at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota. He is now an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the school.
Dr. Raju is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a member of the Maulana Azad Medical College Old Student Association.
Dr. Doris Ramirez Nessetti is a second generation Obstetrician Gynecologist who brings a tremendous amount of compassion and dedication to every patient she treats. She graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Ramirez Nessetti followed her fathers footsteps to pursue a career in Obstetrics Gynecology, hoping to receive the same gratification her father enjoyed throughout his years of practice. She received her M.D. from New York Medical College in 1999.
Dr. Doris Nessetti provides women’s health services, aesthetics, and integrated care for women of all ages. She was a DaVinci trained robotic surgeon. She takes pride in her knowledge and commitment to preventative care for her patients. Dr. Lichon (she/her) offers comprehensive, evidence-based obstetric and gynecologic care to all age groups. She specifically enjoys infertility care, prenatal care, providing breastfeeding support, treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, and performing in-office procedures.
Before joining the Swor Women’s Care team, Dr. Lichon completed 12 years of education and training. She received her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University (Go Green!), where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science. She then completed medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton, Florida. Afterward, she returned to Michigan and completed a four-year OB/GYN residency program at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton, Michigan.
Dr. Lichon specializes in laparoscopic surgeries including robotics procedures with the da Vinci® surgery system for gynecological surgeries such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, hysterectomies. In the office, Dr. Lichon excels in colposcopy, LEEP, and minor surgical procedures such as hysteroscopy dilation & curettage and uterine ablation.
Dr. Lichon, her husband Eric, and their daughters London (2018) and Claire (2022) like to spend free time with both sets of their families, who also reside in sunny Sarasota. Dr. Lichon loves to travel, work out on her Peloton, and have new experiences. They love the outdoors and staying busy.

Kelly-Anne Shedd-Hartman, DO aka Dr. KASH offers holistic, patient-focused OB/GYN care to women of all ages at Swor Women’s Care in Sarasota, Florida. Michael Swor, MD, FPMRS is a well-known top-ranked gynecologist who has been serving women of all ages in and around Sarasota, Florida, for over 25 years. He founded Swor Women’s Care to provide the highest-quality, patient-focused gynecological care for every stage of a woman’s life.
Dr. Swor earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and completed his OB/GYN specialty training at the University of Florida in Jacksonville.
